I hope the first few weeks of the new year have treated you well. Us Grow Wilders enjoyed a well-earned break after the Christmas rush, reopening our doors on the 7th. Already it's been fab to see so many of you stop by, and there are plenty more reasons to continue to do so on the run-up to Burns Night! Think local haggis (we have veggie haggis too), neeps and tatties.
We're also stocked full of gorgeous winter greens, busy ordering seed supplies for next year's crops and taking a moment to spotlight our brilliant suppliers
Welcome to January's Bonnytoun Farm News, you lovely lot!
Haggis, neeps and tatties!

Burns Night is just around the corner, and we’ve got everything you need to celebrate Scotland’s bard as tradition intended. Our superb classic haggis comes from Puddledub, a brilliant local supplier found in the sleepy village of Auchtertool, West Fife. Family-run, just like us, Clentrie Farm has been with the Mitchells since 1905.
We’ve also got loads of neeps and tatties, haggis sausages, and—so no veggies miss out on the action—MacSween’s delicious vegetarian haggis. Grab your goodies ahead of Saturday from tomorrow at 10 am - Slàinte Mhath!
Greens, glorious greens!

Winter greens are a go this January, with plenty to keep your meals hearty and healthy. Our cabbages are nearing the end of last year’s crop, so now’s the time to make the most of them and we also have lots of leeks - scroll for Lindsay's delicious tagliatelle stuffed full of 'em!
Cauli lovers, you’re in luck too. Another batch has opened up beautifully and will be ready for harvesting this week. You’ll find them in the Farm Shop, fresh as can be. And of course, we’ve got plenty of kale and winter greens—both perfect for soups, sautés, or as a side to brighten up your plate.
The Seed Journey Begins

Lindsay and Ben have been busy planning this year’s crops, and the seed order is officially in! From lettuce and cabbages to beetroot, kale, and more, we’re gearing up for another bountiful year at Grow Wild. Stay tuned for updates as the journey unfolds!
Refill Reminder

Lots of you have been using our refills since we reopened, and we’re fully stocked to help you start the year sustainably. Don’t forget to bring your refill bottles next time you pop by the shop, as perfectly demoed here by Lindsay, haha!
Tagliatelle with Leeks

Looking for a quick, hearty winter warmer? Lindsay’s tagliatelle with leeks is a simple, delicious recipe that combines sweet, sautéed leeks, creamy yoghurt, and a hint of nutmeg for a comforting dish packed with flavour. A great way to make the most of our lovely leeks.
Celebrating Our Suppliers
