Every week we try to source new local and organic groceries that we can let you try. Provided that you haven't missed your deadline for delivery, you can use the form on this page to update your order.

Sunflowers!!!!

We now have sunflowers grown in Linlithgow on a local farm employing organic farming methods. Whilst they are available, we are offering them for 6 for £5! They must be kept in water, and should last for at least a week. Please give us a call or drop us an email if you would like a bunch or two delivered with your order

Please note that due to a further incrase in cost of eggs from our suppliers, the eggs have gone up to £1.95 per 1/2 doz large (which still makes us more competitive that the supermarkets!)

Our very local jam (West Lothian!) sold out extremely quickly even though we had bucket loads of it. We now have new batches of the rhubarb, raspberry and strawberry. All £2.50 a jar (340g)

BOOK NOW for local lamb (Soay/Portland crosses)

Ben at Bonnytoun has offered Grow Wild  the opportunity to get butchered half and whole lambs when they are ready (in approximately 2-3 weeks). Since lambs aren't very big, it is expected that the butchered cuts would take up to same volume of space as perhaps one of our small boxes. Lambs usually weigh around 17kg, so a half lamb would weigh approx 7-8 kg once butchered, and whole lambs 15-16kg (although i have been told not to hold him to this, since you never can tell until the job is done!).

Thanks to all those who have already placed orders - and just to confirm, all meat is fresh, and therefore can be frozen. NB This lamb has been produced according to Organic Standards, but has not gone through the certification process. We are however, very happy with the integrity of the product, and also, knowing Ben, are comfortable that the lamb is produced according to our Animal Welfare Policy.

PRODUCE

The fantastic local produce is coming in thick and fast with cabbages, spinach, chard, kale (our favourite), mini cucumbers, carrots, turnips, beetroot, lettuces, and all sorts of other things. We do hope you are enjoying the produce at the moment - we think it really is at its best!
