Creamy Mushrooms on Toast
What you need:
25g/1oz butter, 175g mushrooms, 1 small garlic clove, 2 slices of toasted sourdough, 50ml soured cream, ½ tbsp chopped dill and a few dill sprigs to garnish
What to do:
In advance - slice the mushrooms, crush the garlic and slice the sourdough. Preheat the grill.
Heat the butter in a large wok or frying pan and stir fry the mushrooms and garlic over a fairly high heat for about 4-5 minutes until soft, then season. Meanwhile, toast the sourdough on both sides and transfer to serving plates.
Stir the soured cream, and chopped dill into the mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes until bubbling. Serve at once spooned over the toasted sourdough then garnish with a sprig of dill and enjoy!
