We deliver organic groceries across central scotland.
Our core products are boxes, (available in a variety of sizes and combinations), in which you will find an interesting selection of organic vegetables including root vegetables, greens, and other organic veg, together with some organic fruit where appropriate. We vary the contents of each type of box on a weekly basis, and if we include an unusual vegetable, then we include a recipe or two so that cooking it is made easy! Potatoes are not included as standard in our boxes since not everyone wants potatoes each week, but can be ordered separately by the kilo (or by the 500g when new season tatties are available!), and added into your box on an ad hoc or regular basis.
Please see our most recently updated price list which includes descriptions of the boxes and all the other goodies we have!
Our standard boxes can be customised to suit your taste. Each week, if there is anything you don't want, you can let us know and we will omit it from your box and replace it with something else. Similarly, you can tell us of anything you really don't like - we will make sure it is excluded it from future box deliveries and substituted with another variety of fruit or veg!
Our standard products are small, medium, large, and large family boxes of organic products:
Along with organic fruit and vegetables we can also deliver organic wines, cheeses, fantastic meat and poultry from the Griersons, and other household items.
The produce of 2016 and 2017..
At Grow Wild and beyond, we have all enjoyed the fantastic diversity of produce which included lettuces, salad bags, spring onions, cabbages (we have been complimented many times on these as 'the most delicious ever tasted'), curly kale and cavalo nero, spinach and chard, fennel and globe artichokes, herbs, broccoli and cauliflower, swede and beetroot, the list goes on....all grown at Bonnytoun farm, by Ben and his team last year.
The organic orchard last year produced an array of apples, from sweet eaters to cookers to cider varieties, all of which were harvested and were delicious. The orchard, having forty different varieties of apples, provided us with a perfect platform for assessing which of our apples were the most hardy, pest resistant, and tastiest. This year, we are continuing with our project for a further orchard of organic apples with a much smaller range. We will of course have to wait a few years for the fruit, but we know it will be worth the wait! The grafting was completed last year, and now the trees are a little more established, so the plan is that the organic Katies, Asmeade Kernels, Discoveries, and Lord Lambournes will be planted in the organic field this year, making a second wee orchard. The Katies and the Discoveries have been the most successful and the trees in the orchard were loaded with these varieties last year!
As always, any questions, please do just give the office team a call - Karen ad Donna will be able to help.
